Finding inexpensive, but terrific Halloween costumes for your whole family is more fun and easier than ever this year at Goodwill Stores.
Plaid shirts, bellbottoms, black dresses, fancy dresses, overalls, straw hats, top hats and go-go boots are just a few of the items for sale as local Goodwill Stores gear up for a busy Halloween season. In addition to second-hand vintage items, Goodwill now offers low price new costumes, decorations and accessories like make-up and wigs.  Shopping at Goodwill is a great way to put together a unique and inexpensive Halloween costumes for the whole family.

While other retailers anticipate the holiday shopping season between Thanksgiving and Christmas, trick-or-treaters make October the hottest month at Goodwill stores. Customers can find funny, vintage, scary or most original. All they need is some imagination. The trick is doing a bit of cutting and pasting and letting your imagination go wild with the accessories. The treat is that no one will have exactly the same costume, and purchases support individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment who are trying to achieve employment and independence. The stores are well decorated for the season and have a special Halloween section in addition to items throughout the store.
